Volunteering with the Office of International Education
Study Abroad Alums and Academic Initiative Stipend (AIS) Recepients:
OIE is always looking for study abroad alumni to volunteer at our events and share their expeirence. To see a list of opportunities available and sign up, check out the Google Doc Sign up Form. Note: Use the tabs at the bottom to navigate between events. Only sign up if you can committ to participating.

Students who have received the Academic Initiative Stipend for their study abroad experience are required to complete either one, two or three events within a semester of their return. Please be sure to sign up for your required number of events in order to earn the second half of the stipend.

Want to be a Study Abroad Peer Mentor?
Study Abroad Peer Mentors volunteer with the Office of International Education between two and four hours each week. You will be the first contact for students interested in going abroad and can share about your personal experience from pre-departure to your return. Complete the application and submit it to the Office of International Education as soon as possible. You can access the application here: Peer Mentor Position Description & Application
